If the snow won't come to me... I'll go to the snow!

and that was exactly what I did...


No... Actually, that was what my host dad did... He brought me to the snow... Was really nice of him tho... After all these depressing stuff going around my head. Not that he's not nice normally... I mean, he is nice all the time... well, you get what I mean, don't you?


So like... we drove about 2 to 3 hours to the highest point of Nordrhein-Westfalen, the region where I'm staying in Germany, which is Kahler Asten. I woke up at about 8am AGAIN! You know, this waking up early stuff is really driving me up the wall... 'coz I get so tired afterwards but I can't sleep. Annoying that is! So after breakfast we got dressed up all warm and all in the quest to find snow. Tell you the truth, I didn't believe that I would see snow at all since it was really warm... ok, 6° isn't really that warm, but warm for snow to snow... get what I mean? No? Egal.... And then as we got nearer and higher the temperature dropped 0.5° every 100m higher. Hah! I knew that from Form 3 Geography and today I witness the phenomena! LOL!


Anyways, we saw snow on the cars in the opposite direction, and I got excited like what. And then.... we started to see snow on the side of the road... and then on signboards, and trees... and then... It started to snow!! Ok, it was more rain than snow... but who cares... it's still snow.


So we got out of the car into the freezing cold outside... and started walking... and walking... and then we saw some snowmen.... And then my host dad asked whether I wanted to take photo with the snowman... I was like, pffff, I'm here with loads of snow...as if I wanna take photo with some snowman some other people build... I also can build one myself. Haha... Well, I tried... my host dad helped... So we rolled the snow into a ball... no wait... 3 balls... I made 2, and he made 1. He didn't have gloves with him so it was too cold for barehands. Imagine... -0.5°!
If you're wondering the photo up there... it's my snow ball... Hard ok to make it really round... don't believe?? Make yourself then... then see who laugh at who's.... =P

So yeah... after few minutes of hard cold work... my snowman was finished. Well, I won't say I did a great job, besides it IS my first snowman in my life... and it was frigging cold!! and it was cold... and did I mention it was FRIGGING COLD??

depress??

I don't know why, but the last few days were depressing... it takes so much effort just to smile, and I don't know why... It's weird tho. I mean, it's Christmas, I'm in Germany... what more can I ask?? My dream last night was really troubling... I was crying in my dream... And I don't know why!

Well, what I remembered from my dream was that, I was sitting in a corner... dark corner... hugging my legs... and crying... crying like there won't be a tomorrow... Then I woke up.

Haven't being able to sleep well for nights actually, and don't ask me what's troubling me, 'coz I have no idea.

Piss off for no particular reason... and feeling like there's no reason for smiles in the world.

Ach jaaaa... I woke up too early again today...

Everywhere else is feeling christmassy... except me... o.O

It's Christmas Eve, and it's the holidays... yet I woke up at 8.30am. siaw I know! I guess that's how I got my bad mood to start the day. Anyway, I only got out of bed at around 10.30 plus. Went downstairs, and found Lars clad only in boxer shorts and socks in the kitchen eating something. A thought went through my mind, "Gibt's nicht frühstuck heute oder was? Wo ist Mama und Papa?". (Is there no breakfast today or what? Where's Mama and Papa?) I said Morgen, took the scissors and got some wrapping paper and went upstairs again, and started wrapping up presents. An hour later, Papa came to my room and told me "Frühstuck ist fertig" (breakfast's ready). Apparently they were stuck in a queue in the supermarket. There wasn't any Brotchen today, so it was only some bun with raisins in it which I didn't like, and croissants... yummy!After breakfast, went up in my room again... and I have no idea what to do... So here I am, chatting and blogging.. on Christmas Eve.

Well, to you guys over there, I hope you had a better Christmas Eve to start with. =D

So this morning I got a call at about 8.30am, and was ready to get really piss off at the caller 'coz hallo? It's the holidays! Turns out it was Mami telling me it snowed. I jumped out of bed, look outside, saw nothing, got dressed and went straight out into the -4°! Haha, it was really cold!!

Ach jaa.. My exchange year is going to end soon. It sucks bad, but life goes on. Anyway, I've been thinking, I've been here for almost a year, but I still can't speak the perfect German I thought I could. A bummer, but I'm quite proud of myself tho. I mean, I couldn't speak a word of German before I came, except Guten Tag, Wie geht's and all those simple stuff. 9 months, or maybe 10, I don't know... I stop counting ages ago... anyway all the time here, and now I can at least understand and speak my mind. I guess it would've helped if I countinue taking German lessons, but being the lazy ass I am, I didn't. Na jaaaaa...

I am wondering why is my house phone back home always engaged? I thought of calling home... but I can't even reach the home line. I don't even know why I wanna call home. Weird. Haha! Guess I just wanna say hi. I don't remember when was the last time I called. Hmmmz, probably ages. Ne, not getting homesick. LOL! Don't worry.

It's -2° and I STILL haven't seen snow!

Yup, that's preety annoying... when you look so much forward for snow... Anyways, other than the disapointment of snow, it was a cool week tho. Annie, the first host daughter of my host family was here for a visit with her brother, Harry... Yeah, it was really cool! =) Well, for one I got back most of my English! =D

I hate school! I had like one period of History today, and then 3 free periods so I'm back home, and then 3 more periods and I'm home again. Bahhh! Thank God it's only 5 minutes away, if not it'll be annoying!

Somehow I can't get to school on time... Especially on Monday mornings... like, it doesn't matter what time I get up, I still get to school 5 minutes late for History. I woke up early today, but... yeah, I still got to school 5 minutes late. Weird but true. Na ja...

The time is scaring me! I have like less than a month now... and like, yeah, it's too fast! Hate it, but can't stop it!

Guess this is an annoying post.... I guess 'coz I'm annoyed. Can't help it tho. LOL! Hope your's wasn't as annoying as mine.

1 month left...

Yup... time actually flies. It's scary how I feel like I just arrived and that I'm new and stuff, and now I'm leaving in 1 month. It just doesn't feel right. It's just weird! I mean, it was so long ago when I arrived... right?

So... What did I do today?? No, I didn't celebrate. LOL! I went to school like normal. As usual 5 minutes too late, but somehow the teacher was also late today, so no one noticed that I was late. Haha! I spent the whole time in German and Religion class drawing and scribbling stuff... My teachers better not read this. ;) I never do anything in German anyway. My teacher is probably really annoyed with me. There was this one time, where everyone around me kept asking me about Malaysia. And I was like explaining to them how we have tigers, elephants, snakes, bears and stuff like that in our jungles, and they were so fascinated, and then they asked me to teach them Malay, which I did 'coz German classes are boring. I can't do anything in German. The teacher was pretty piss off at us. Hahaha... To think about it, my group there doesn't really do anything in German classes. Luca keeps talking to Jan and disturbing Isi, and he comes out with all those wacky funny ideas which keeps us laughing all the time! And Jan, he started writing this novel about some wanderer if I'm not wrong. And Lina keeps talking to Luca, and Philip keeps trying to make Lina concentrate in class, and sometimes he himself starts talking. LOL!

After school I went for Badminton as usual, but somehow today I couldn't really play. I didn't have the lust. I guess it annoyed Mami alot 'coz she wanted to play seriously but I wasn't really in the mood. And then I wanted to go jogging but somehow I didn't have time to do that, 'coz later I went to Laura's and we practise the violin abit for the recital on Saturday. Pretty excited and nervous about it! =) The Christmas Concert is on Thursday, after which I have to rush over to Gianna's birthday, and then on Friday is Kenny's Reinfeier. Party weekend again. LOL! Too bad I can't make it to Marcus' birthday but it's on the same day as Kenny's and Marcus lives like 20km from me. Oh wait, went out of topic. Sorry! Yeah, so after practising with Laura, I went swimming with Annie, Lydia, Luisa and Lisa.

Swimming was really fun. Annie (my host family's first host daughter), Lydia (from USA), and I spoke English most of the time. Ok, my English sucks really bad... somehow or other. I can't say a fluent sentence. It's scaring me! I'll die when I get back home! =P Anyway, Luisa (from Columbia), and Lisa (Lydia's host sister who was in the USA for exchange) were feeling left out. And somehow or other, I guess they hate us now. The 3 of us were always together and yeah... but anyway, I guess things work and Luisa didn't feel so left out in the end... I guess... Coz we agreed to play some games that she suggested, and we talked afterwards.

So not looking forward to tomorrow... School somehow sucks if you don't know what I mean. I mean, the people is really nice and all, but the lessons are really boring, and the teacher sucks, especially the... to think about it... I don't know any good teachers there... Ok, one... or two, but that's it.

Right, it's getting pretty late and I have to sleep if not I'll get to school another 5 minutes later. Somehow or other I can't seem to get to school on time. Haha! Big problem for me!


PS: It's only 23:15 here on the 11th of December... My blog will say it's 5am something on the 12th, 'coz it follows Malaysian time.

Ya ya.... It's the Christmas Season now in Germany... Yeah, we have Christmas chocolates, Christmas candies, Christmas cookies, Christmas cakes, Christmas everything.... yeap, even Christmas market (Weihnachstmarkt)... Ok, I have no idea what's it called in English, but direct translation then... yeah, Christmas market.

So yeah, I was in Münster... with AFS... and we went to the Weihnachtsmarkt. We left Dinslaken at about 10.18am, to Duisburg. Took the next train to Münster. It was really cool, and funny!

I got my travel details sometime last week, I guess it arrived on Thursday and I only read it on Friday. To tell you guys the truth, I'm not all looking forward to going home. Tja... but I have to anyway fly home...

+ not having to spend my money again...
+ oh ya, my NEW room!

Crushes come and go... But when you have a crush you can't help but to feel so over the world when he (she for guys... unless you're....) looks at your direction or poses to take a photo with you and etc. And when he... she.... wait... I know how to solve this problem... your crush... yeah, it sounds better... when your crush talks to you, and.... you feel like you're on top of the world!! Finally your crush notices you!! Well... ok, I admit I have a crush... on a Handballer... So it's like a celebrity crush lah. The type of crush you know it'll only stay a crush and not more. Haha!! Tja... until I found out his web page. We are soooo near!! All I need to do is... add him! Simple as that!! But the problem is... will he add me back?? Have been debating for a long time with myself. And then... I decided to do it. I added him... And.... boahhh!! You can't imagine my feeling when I saw in my email that I have a new friend confirmed... Quick quick quick! Enter website address! Enter email address... password!!! Click friends!!! Paduhal it's another person. Haihhhh.... False alarm. And then........ just at the bottom of my start page.... I saw him!!!!! His photo!!!! HE WAS ACTUALLY IN MY PAGE!!! OMG!!! HE!! Sadly he didn't add me lah.

Haihhh... What to do? When somebody is not so pretty... or profile not attractive enough... or didn't photoshop photos to look like Shakira or Maria Sharapova or Miss World or something like that.

But then I should be contented la. I saw him what. Took photo with him. Talked to him...

Hello!! How are you??

As some of you guys know, I was in Rome... Yeah, ROME!!! Capital city to Italian!!! *omgomgomgomgomgomg* OK, I'll stop. *deep breath*

Left the house in Hünxe at about 2am... and then drove (not me lah! My host dad...) the 3 hours to Frankfurt Hann. Left Frankfurt at about 7am. Arrived in Rome at 9am. The view from the plane was super geil! We could see the Colosseo, Basilica di San Pietro (St Peter's Basilica), and etc.




From Rome Airport, we took the bus to Rome's Main Station, and from there on we walked to our hotel. We went to the wrong side of the Station, and after 10 minutes of walking we realise we were wrong. Had to walk all the way to the Station again, and then to the other side, and start all over again. 2 blocks, right... straight... etc. Anyway, arrived our Hotel save and sound, left our bags there and wasted no time to see ROME!

The 2 days I was there were not wasted. I saw the whole of Rome... ok, most of Rome I would put it. I was at the Vatican City, Colosseum, St Peter's Basilica, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps), Church of Santa Maria and The Mouth of Truth, Basilica di Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, Basilica di San Paolo Fuori le Mura (St Paul's Dome) and etc. Basically everything everyone wanna see in Rome.

On Saturday the weather was super, with really blue sky. We had luck, it rained while we were in the Musei Vanticani (Vantican Museum), and then after that we had only really good weather. On Sunday, it rained and rained and rained. =(

Basically I can say I met the Pope... only that he was inside St Peter, and I was outside. But then counted also as seeing, 'coz I saw him on the big screen they have outside St Peter. And it's not TV or something, it's because St Peter's too full, so the people can attend Mass outside the Basilica too. Was really cool. I heard his voice, he spoke in Latin, I catch no ball. =P

The Backstreet Boy were in Rome too!!!!!!! But I didn't see them tho. T.T Only saw their fans with autographed CD Album! Hallo!! I want one too!!

This week is so not my week...


1. I got a blister in my mouth, which tut total weh!!!
2. I got a bruise on my hand from Badminton. (long story)
3. Got scolded while walking the dog. Arschloch!
4. Keep waking up so late in the morning.
5. Orchestra klingt not so well today.



Haihhhh, don't know why so soi this week. I hope my blister goes away before this weekend, I don't have mood to go around Rome being not able to eat anything or drink anything. T.T Anyway, my bruise looks totally eklig!!! Looks as if got mosquitoe bite like that... but on the other hand, look as if got love bite also. Paduhal it's a bite from a racquet... namely Philipp's racquet! Haihhhhh.... My hand got the "bite" as we were playing badminton together with Jerome and Mami. Yesterday still can see the line where the racquet hit me, but today it's just... later you see the photo you'll know what I mean.

Life after Deutschland...

Yer... just like life after death like that... Wakakaka!! Just kidding... I just received an email from my Mum and Dad (natural, of coz)... saying that I'm gonna have a new room. I AM GONNA HAVE A NEW ROOM! BIGGER! LARGER! and EMPTIER!! If there's such word. LOL! Haha! happiness~

Actually, your room will be widened and allocated to Matthew. You get the new room cos your shower space will be shared with Arlene but you will have your own sink and toilet. It will be a much bigger room. Maybe we just leave it white-washed and let you paint you won room when you come back. [what my Mum wrote]

I hope I get a new bed... 'coz I wanna go shopping for a new bed. Wakakaka! Oh ya, and a new cupboard! Haha! But I doubt it lah. What the heck is allocated??!! That means I have to walk through Matt's room or what? Sheesh! My English is deteorating like mad!

Anyway... One extra reason to look forward to home... Haha! I hope they'll gonna pick me up in KL... Then.... I won't be over weight from KL - KCH. OR we can go shopping in KL! Wakakakaaka!!! idiot, Marcus says he's gonna stay in KL for a week. haihhh! And I have to go to school pulak on Monday!! Why can't i arrive KL on Sunday??? T.T

Also ich war auf einem Handball spiel in Essen am 10. November. TuSEM Essen gegen TBV Lemgo. Und NATURLICH bin ich für Lemgo. =P Gianna ist die Nummer 1 Fan von Lemgo und hat mir viel über Lemgo erzählt. Deshalb bin ich auch für Lemgo.


So I went to a handball game in Essen on the 10th of November. TuSEM Essen vs TBV Lemgo. And OF COURSE I was for Lemgo. =P Gianna is the number 1 fan of Lemgo and had told me loads of stuff about Lemgo. And there you are, me - a Lemgo Fan.

Florian Kehrmann hat die erste Tor für TBV geschoßen in der dritten Minute. Der TBV lief in der ersten Viertelstunde immer einem Rückstand hinterher. Wir waren total gespannt! Jens Bechtloff und Michael Kraus hat ein paar Tor geschoßen, aber am ende des ersten Spielhälfte, in der letzten Spielsekunde, hat Lasse Boesen die 18-18 gemacht für TBV.

Florian Kehrmann was the one who shot the 1st goal for TBV in the 3rd minute. TBV, in the firsth 15 minutes where always not far behind the TuSEMs. We were so nervous! Jens Bechtloff and Michael Kraus shot a few goals but at the end of the 1st half, at the last second, Lasse Boesen made it 18-18 for TBV.

In der zweite Spielhälfte hat der TBV besser gespielt. Vielleicht hat TuSEM nicht so gut konzentriert, deshalb hat TBV zu vielen einfachen Toren geshoßen. Aber war gut für uns! ;) Den Schlußpunkt setzte der überragend spielende Sebastian Preiß 26 Sekunden mit dem Endstand zum 39-31.

In the second half, TBV played the better team. Maybe it was that TuSEUM's concentration was down, that was why TBV made many easy goals. But it was good for us! ;) Sebastian Preiß put the finishing touch to the game at the 26th second, making TBV the winner at 39-31.

Halloween 2007

I know Halloween was like ages ago, but Blogspot got problem with the photos uploading so yeah. Anyway, this was how I celebrated Halloween with my peeps.

So like it was after Amsterdam, we met up at around 8.30pm at Jan's place dressed up and all. Haha! Was kinda fun, my first ever Halloween party! Didn't know what should I go as, then suddenly I remembered I had the Cheongsam that Eve gave me as Farewell present, and then... I went there as a Chinese Ghost. Hahaha! But the dress was so thin! What you expect, In Malaysia wear so think, later die of hotness... I mean, hot as in hot, and not hot as in looking hot... haha! What am I saying, anyway, you guys understand what am I trying to say. ;)

Amsterdam Class Trip

So yeah, I was in Amsterdam again with my class this time...

Wanted to upload more photos but Blogspot got abit of problem so I can't upload the rest up. Anyway, I'll upload the rest when Blogspot is normal again.

Amsterdam is roughly about 2 hours from our school, or maybe more with traffic jams. Too long for some of us until we fall asleep on the ground.

Long time ago pictures from Sweden

Like you all know, I was in Sweden during my Summer hols... And that was like ages ago... but i just got the pics from my host dad's cam. WAKAKAKA! I curi it! No lah, actually I asked for the other pictures, and then i saw the Sweden pictures so I decided to take them also. Haha!

Sweden is soooo beautiful! From when the sun rises until it sets! But when I was there, it was as if there were no nights 'coz at about 04.00 the sun starts to rise and it's not really dark yet at 24.00. Soooo....

Sun rising in beautiful Sweden.... makes me wonder how the heck did I get homesick there...

About 100m from our house, there was a really huge lake, so we went kayaking...

In one of our rides, we saw 2 baby foxes... This is one of them... and then it swam right past our kayak! Not many people seen wild foxes swimming across the river before! We count ourselves lucky!

Look at the beautiful untouch nature!! So calm and peaceful....

But then two weeks of.... ya, ulu-ness.... What do we do to past the time besides kayaking and Moose spotting and er... sleeping... We DRINK! LOL! Ok, after two weeks right, the cans were more than that... we even made it into 3-D. Hehe...

And then we think we are super people, and go swimming in frigging icy cold water! I'm not exaggerating okie.... It was frigging 17°!!! But i bet it was colder than that!

Ach, here comes the sun set...

So yeah.... I don't have any more photos to show about Sweden.... I mean, there are but I'm too lazy to upload them here. Haha!

Snow in Autumn???

Ok lah, it isn't something new for those living in the south of Germany... It has already begun to snow... But, haha... It isn't snowing in my region, BUT there is snow in... Düsseldorf. Why?? Because the Skiing World Cup is held there! Of course, it isn't real snow... Kinda funny tho, like every other place ain't snowing only the ski path has snow.

Tadahhhh.... snow.....

Look so real right??? But, pity... it ain't real...

but who cares right? It's still snow what. A lil bit harder than usual but still counted as 'snow'. So what do we do??

We make it into snow balls lah!

Then make those cartoons our target!! MUAHAHAHAA!
