Final Year of Undergraduate!!

I can't believe my undergraduate life is ending soon...

precisely in 8 months!!

That means, I need to study for my stats course, seminar on clinical psychology, ethics, an elective... and on top of that...

write a 12000-15000 word Thesis!!!

oh... did I mention run the experiments as well??

2012

So far... 2012 has been a great start!

I got into the mental hospital in Kuching to do some volunteering work to gain some experience... and also since I came back to Brissie, life has been... busy! not with work.. but with my social life... which i think it's really good... 'coz I didn't have much time back home for holidays.

A friend's brother was here during my first week and into my second week here. So we just chilled around doing touristy stuff... and on the second week, a friend from Germany contacted me 'coz she was coming to Brisbane. That was such a surprise and so that ended my second week with a bang! My sister came back on the third week and that was orientation week... and now guess what? Uni's starting up next week!

I must say tho, I ended my holidays awesomely! Was a part of the World's Largest Toga party I must say, despite the rain!! But I would say the rain made it even more awesome!!! :D We (Brisbane) broke the Guiness Book of Records for hosting the world's largest toga party... We were sooooo excitedddd!! I'm still a little high with excitement here!!

But that doesn't change the fact that uni is starting off next week... My final year... My honours year... Full pressure mode on starting on Monday... at least I've still got the weekend to chill out!

Ramblings!

I'm seeing a trend here... before exams, I'm updating my blog... After exams, poof! GONE! Until the next round of exams... Haha! But the reason why I'm updating now is that, a friend of mine asked me yesterday if I was still blogging. I couldn't answer. I was like.. yeaaa,no... haven't being updating! Hell yeah! What, the last post was last November??

Of course heaps had happen since then... I went to KK, Sabah. I celebrated Christmas with my family. I went to my dad's hometown for Chinese New Year. I came back to Brisbane. Went to an Italian Mass for Easter. I think the Italian priest wasn't too amused. Haha. Went to the First game of States of Origin! GO MAROONS! Injured my finger in my Taekwondo grading, which was worth it in the end... I double graded!! Celebrated Gawai with a simple dinner with close friends, which turned out pretty awesome! :) Love you guys! And most recently, joined an amateur dragon boat race!! We won first runner up! That was so exciting!

And now... yea... exams! Haha! But this is not the point I'm blogging today. Ever since my sister came to stay with me, I became more responsible. Cooking more, cleaning more... Definitely more housekeeping... This got me thinking...

I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU WORKING MUMS OUT THERE MAKE IT EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!!

First week was alright trying to get up at 7am so I can prepare breakkie and eat with my sis before she heads off for her class. Then I'll clean up, wash dishes that got accumulated from the night before. Sweep the floor, mop the floor, vacuum the rug. And that takes like 1-2 hours. And then I'll head off to class.

That was alright for a while, and then I got pretty annoyed when I come home and the house looks exactly like before I cleaned it. I'm like... ARGHH! But it got me thinking about my mum. Mum does the housework, she looks after us, cooks for us, sends us to school, and still do full time work! HOW DO YOU DO THAT?!!

Then again, she does get cranky at times... Now I understand... Sigh.... Full-time working mums... I salute you! I don't know how you all do it!! I don't think I'd be able to do housework, do house keeping, cook and still look after kids!!

Mummy, thank you for all these long hard years! I love you!!

Been back in Brisbane for like 1 week dy... cun2 1 week la from today... Still miss home... Before I left pun dah miss... what more to say being here... Counting the days until I can be home again... LOL!! It's like in another 8 months plus... Aahhh!! But have to sabar la... Sacrifice lok, then after that can enjoy... kannn? :)

2nd yearrr... What can I sayyy? It's soooo different than 1st year... 1st year really slack la! I must work harder this year... My friends who were in 2nd year last year was telling me how stress and how much workload they have, but I sik cayak... That's why la me... Now jak realise how much work they have to endure...

Aiyaaaa~~ K laa... enough of me complaining...

6. Carry out our crazy ass missions...as in all our plans from paintball - ngabang2...
7. Oi Bryan, plan Borneo tour jadi ka? I wait for Soph, Mich, Bry, Sal n Ishlah for our crazy ass driving mission to Brunei... haha...
8. Not forget about chillaxing with muh family.. kesian, my fam pulak number 8... this should be no. 2... lol...
9. *prays hard* Tour NZ-Fiji with family... if jadi lar...
10. Whatever spontaneous things that pops up to mind...

Sounds like fun eyyy.... but 1st!!! Assignments and finals to conquer... :( I wish I can fastforward to holidays.... T.T
