Counting down the days that passed

The race is finally over...

YAY!!!

Finally a free person... After days and nights sacrificed (as if) for this finals... it's finally over. But it seems so surreal... I finally finish my pre-uni days. It's just weird! At first it's like, yay! only 7 months course, and then uni!! But nowwww, I'm already missing May Express when it's not even over for 24 hours!!! I'm so gonna miss the teachers there, and the people who I met and got to know there... No one can replace you guys! You guys are the best course mates ever!! WE HAVE TO KEEP IN TOUCH OK!!!!

I'm happy with 4 of my exams, as in I know I did my best, whether or not I did well lies in the hand of the teachers. Haha. :-s Buttttttttttttttttttttttttt, as most of you know I was really upset with my Math paper. I still am!! I know it's over and there's nothing I can do about it, but I feel that I could've done so much better. OMG! I SOUND LIKE A FRIGGING STRAIGHT A's STUDENT!! WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO!!!

Anyway yea... and I say BULLSHIT to aiming high!!! I swear the pain is SOOOO much bigger and tremendously painful when you know you could've done so much better and yet you know you've screwed up. Trust me, I know...

Ach jaaaa, but it's over... and it feels like a frigging unfinished business you know. I feel like if I were to die today, I'd be stuck in this physical world because of that!! Really!! Deanic was being lame today. He was like, "Ok! Then I'll burn the Math exam for you and you can keep doing and doing until you get so fed up and say arghhhh Deanic!! Stop sending me Math!". Haha... Sighhh...

On the lighter note... I found out that I'm a right-brained person... Which means I tend to be subjective, creative, intuitive and holistic (whatever that means). Haha!! Am I?? Ohh, and I'm an extrovert... and my brain's a female brain... Haha... Should be good right?

Rosalie (Teacher): ... that is why comedy shows producer use canned laughter to influence audience...

Me: *burst out laughing*

Whole class look at me bewildered. Their faces were literally O.O

Me: *laughing harder* Sorry... *attempts at stiffening laughter*

Then I caught Hui Quan's eye, and somehow she knew why I was laughing and she burst out laughing too!

Rosalie: Ok... What's so funny? Come on, share it with the class...

Me: Er... I'm imagining opening a can and laughter comes out...
..........

I know, I know... lame shit... LOL!!!

Studying...

Haha.. I still have Sunday left to study and then the BATTLE IS ON!!! Desperate!!! Maths have been taking up most of my time... It's frustrating when you know the formulae, you know how to do it, but somehow can't seem to get it answer!! Right???
See, even my laptop's studying!!!

Ok, the next photo is my desk... word of caution, if you're a neat freak, I don't think you wanna see it... It's in a HUGE mess... with more and more Maths notes and books!

Hardworking ler?? hahahaha... XD

Been thinking lately...

I've been thinking... like... all the activities I did when I was still back home... Has it all gone to waste?? I feel so bad... like all those music classes my parents paid for... I've been learning music most of my life and I'm still so bad at it... The taekwondo trainings my dad once had to force me to go, and now... I can't even do a split... The "Chinese" lessons I had for 6 years in Primary school, I don't even remember a thing taught!! Handball... Athletics... Badminton... I should be more serious with everything... I start off doing something I wanna do, and then slacking down so much...

Mum & Dad... I'm sorry!! I wanna change!!

Goals to achieve:
1. get good grades
2. learn Mandarin enough to understand and speak and perhaps read and write??
3. start music again
4. continue with my sports

OMG... I sound so much like a nerd... o.O

PS: I got the scholarship interview... pray for me k??? hopefully I'll get it!! *fingers crossed*

Languages that I wanna master in my life...

  1. Mandarin
  2. German
  3. Hokkien
  4. Cantonese
  5. Spanish

I think the list will change as time goes on but so far those are the languages that I wanna master...

I saw this on Erich's blog, and oh how true it is...

AUGUST

Loves to joke. Attractive. Suave and caring. Brave and fearless. Firm and has leadership qualities. Knows how to console others. Too generous and egoistic. Takes high pride in oneself. Thirsty for praises. Extraordinary spirit. Easily angered. Angry when provoked. Easily jealous. Observant. Careful and cautious. Thinks quickly. Independent thoughts. Loves to lead and to be led. Loves to dream. Talented in the arts, music and defense. Sensitive but not petty. Poor resistance against illnesses. Learns to relax. Hasty and trusty. Romantic. Loving and caring. Loves to make friends.

Well, most of them are true... haha.. except the attractive part, and brave and fearless (well sometimes), and the talented part....

What do you think?

Goodbyes, goodbyes

Today Archer aka Silius has left 508 for home... It seemed like just yesterday we received a letter stating that this Wang dude from China will be our 5th housemate and now... room 508.5 is empty. Funny how we were reluctant to have another person moving in, funny how now we miss him so...

I don't know how it'll be in a week's time when Sam leaves... sigh, the two good buddies who lighten up our place... Haha... challenging each other and speaking in God-knows-what-language they created... LOL! Now, one is without the other, and the house is soooo much quieter.

Anyway... We'll see each other again in February!!
Until then...
WE'LL MISS YOU ARCHER!!!

Your Yearly Dementia Test

Melvin sent this through email to me... and I find it really really hilarious!! Do and you'll see!! MUAHAHAHAA!!!

So apparently it's that time of year to take "our" annual senior citizen test. Thought I don't know when exactly is the time since I bet the email has been circling around the net for ages!! LOL!

Exercising the brain is as important as exercising muscles and as we grow older, it's important to keep mentally alert. If you don't use it, you lose it! Below is a very private way to gauge your loss or non-loss of intelligence.

Take the test presented here to determine if you're losing it or not. The spaces below are so you don't see the answers until you've made your answer. OK, relax, clear your mind and begin.

1. What do you put in a toaster?

Answer: "bread." If you said "toast," give up now and do something else. Try not to hurt yourself. If you said, bread, go to Question 2

2. Say "silk" five times. Now spell "silk". What do cows drink?

Answer: Cows drink water. If you said "milk," don't attempt the next question. Your brain is over-stressed and may even overheat. Content yourself with reading a more appropriate literature such as Auto World. However, if you said "water", proceed to question 3.

3. If a red house is made from red bricks and a blue house is made from blue bricks and a pink house is made from pink bricks and a black house is made from black bricks , what is a green house made from?

Answer: Greenhouses are made from glass. If you said "green bricks," why the heck are you still reading these??? If you said "glass," go on to Question 4.

4. It's twenty years ago, and a plane is flying at 20,000 feet over Germany (If you will recall, Germany at the time was politically divided into West Germany and East Germany). Anyway, during the flight, two engines fail. The pilot, realizing that the last remaining engine is also failing, decides on a crash landing procedure. Unfortunately the engine fails before he can do so and the plane fatally crashes smack in the middle of "no man's land" between East Germany and West Germany. Where would you bury the survivors? East German , West Germany , or no man's land"?

Answer: You don't bury survivors. If you said ANYTHING else, you're a dunce and you must stop. If you said, "You don't bury survivors", proceed to the next question.

5. Without using a calculator - You are driving a bus from London to MilfordHaven in Wales . In London , 17 people get on the bus.
In Reading , six people get off the bus and nine people get on.
In Swindon, two people get off and four get on.
In Cardiff, 11 people get off and 16 people get on .
In Swansea, three people get off and five people get on.
In Carmathen, six people get off and three get on.
You then arrive at Milford Haven.
What was the name of the bus driver?

Answer: Oh, for crying out loud!
Don't you remember your own name? It was YOU!!

PS: 95% of people fail most of the questions!! Are you one of that 5%?
