Counting down the days that passed

Down Under

So yeah, I arrived like... on last last Sunday... in Gold Coast. I thought I would be staying there for a while, but no, I went straight to Brisbane after a night there.

Anyways, I thought... Hey... I'm in Australia... how cool is THAT???

Until I realise I have NOTHING to do until my classes start on Tuesday (20.05.2008), Monday's Orientation. Bahh!! Sad right, how the illusion of Australia tend to make things sound cooler... LOLzzz... I'm so bored that I actually am LOOKING FORWARD to school!!! o.O

Sooo, what have I been up to the past couple of days?? I got myself a bank account, I got myself a library membership card, I went to the city myself... yes, MYSELF... he he, met up with Suh Cing there and then she navigated me past buildings and buildings and more buildings, took a ride in the City Cat (it's actually a boat, i don't know why they call it cat), and to Chinatown and all. It was fun... really fun, compared to my other days... which was not so fun... =P

I realise on the day I stepped onto Brisbane land... (or earth or whatever you want it to be called), that... I was basically on my own. Sure I'm staying with my cousin etc, but... most of the stuff I have to do myself. Like searching for a room and etc. It was and still is a huge OMG!!! I mean, I'm not even 18 yet!! Guess what I just realised today... I left home at 16... I mean, some people don't even leave they homes until they are like 20 plus... My dad said, "Who ask you to go to Australia and make you mature so fast?" *speechless* Tell you the truth, I didn't expect to be that independent. But that's life, sooner or later you have to leave your mummy's wings and take of yourself...

How I wish it didn't have to be that soon... =(
